Two car guys disillusioned with the car business founded Road Scholars in May of 2000. The frustration we had with the car business was not with the products, but with the sales process. Russell Fluery spent over twenty years training automobile manufacturers and salespeople how to sell their products. Kevin Watts had 10 years in the sales end of the business, primarily with Porsche. Ironically, he attended many of Russell’s product training classes. We set out to do business differently, selling only the highest quality cars, in a manner befitting the potential owners of those cars.
